For Cutrera the first strong point is the geographical position of its olive groves of about 50 hectares in total. Here the olive trees have thrived in their natural habitat for millennia. The techniques of cultivation, harvesting and transformation of the olives that are used have their roots in the history of the island. The second strong point is represented by the three extraction lines, all phases are followed step by step and this allows to obtain a very high quality oil. The third strong point is the method of preserving the oil with controlled temperature in stainless steel containers and in a modified atmosphere. The use of nitrogen in the bottle allows to keep all the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of the extra virgin olive oil unchanged.
