The company Frantoio di San’Agata d’Oneglia olive oil mill is located in Sant’Agata, a very characteristic small village situated on the hills of Imperia overlooking the Ligurian Sea. The family owner of the mill for more than 190 years produces and cultivates the Taggiasca olives, typical of Liguria. The harvest of the olives is done by hand. The small Taggiasca olives are harvested just before final ripening. The pressing in the mill takes place on the same day of the harvest and only from the best olives, which are carefully chosen to create a fragrant, natural and oxidant-free olive oil. The same goes for all food products made by the mill.
